How much does the class cost?
The 8-hour class is $60.00 if you pre-pay online but if you are paying on the day of the class you will have to pay a *$10.00 holding fee online to hold your spot and the remaining payment of $60.00 cash will be paid the day of the class.
When do you offer the classes?
8 hours classes are offered each Saturday from 8:30am - 4:30pm

What is the difference between the 4 and 8 hour classes?
The 4-hour class will be for individuals who received a traffic ticket and are court ordered to take a defensive driving class however depending on the counties you may be required to take an 8-hour class ordered by the State of Tennessee Department of Safety.
What form of payment do you accept?
NO PERSONAL CHECKS We accept cash, credit, or money orders
Are the classes good for an auto insurance discount?
Check with your insurance agent for this. Most insurance companies will provide you with a discount for attending the class
Which class do I have to take?
If you were court ordered, you will be taking the 4 hour Defensive Driving class. If you received a letter from the Tennessee Department of Safety, you will take the 8 hour Defensive Driving Class. Do not worry you will have breaks in-between class time.
Are the classes State Certified by the Department of Safety?
Yes, the 8-hour classes are State Certified and are State of Tennessee Department of Safety approved. We are also listed on the State of Tennessee's Department of Safety website.
Are there any behind the wheel driving involved in the class?
No, only classroom instruction
What do we need to bring?
Bring some form of identification i.e. your Driver Licenses. We will provide pen and paper if you desire to take notes as well as water and first come first served snacks.
When do I get my certificate?
The certificates will be given to you that same day, immediately after you have completed the class.
What do I do with my certificate upon completion of the class?
Upon completion and receiving your certificate for the 4-hour class you should mail, fax, or hand deliver it to the county clerk's office in which you received your traffic ticket. If you took the 8-hour class you should mail, fax, or hand deliver your certificate to the Tennessee Department of Safety. It would be a good idea to make a copy of the certificate for your personal records
What if I lose my certificate?
If you happen to lose the certificate another one can be shipped to you for $25.00.
What if I cannot make it?
If for whatever reason you are not able to make the date you registered and prepaid for we will reschedule you for a later date or grant you a full refund within 3 days up to one time, after that you will have to register and pay.
